I am joining Happy To Be Scrappy SAL and doing an appliqued heart each day in May – Fun times! Here is my heart for the day.
The colors for May for the So Scrappy RSC 2018 Squared Away project are Rose and Pink. Not being a real pinky person I have chosen a deep pink and a medium pink for the center. I am not sure if I will put the blocks on point, but this one looks better on point – my opinion.
Have a great week – I will be working on Mini- Mountmellick, Hearts, and Nesting for evening applique and 15 larger Dresden Plates for my 1930’s Dresden Heaven quilt.

I am not a pink person, either, but I added pink borders to a flimsy today. I didn’t get a picture; maybe tomorrow after work. In any case, I really like your pink block for the Squared Away Sampler, and I agree…it looks better on point.

Looks like the quilt will be a big one or 2 small ones if on point! I had selected a lighter pink but it fell flat and I did not like the light pink anyway! LOL

About 30 miles east of San Antonio. Born and raised in SA, but moved out of state for awhile and came back when Clay located me in 1996 and we have been married 22 years now!

Love this heart! Such pretty fabric. I think the Squared away is being set on point. I need to pull pink and start on mine this week.

After I finish the ‘reds’, then it will be browns and aqua. Interesting fabric. All will have repeats but in different colors!
