Hearts and Squared Away Finish for May

I have finished the 7th Heart.

Here are the other 6 Hearts completed. One week down about 3 more to go!

I also wanted to show how interesting the three blocks from RSC 2018 Squared Away project. I really can see a picture of a quilt using this block.

I am now wondering if I should make 4 blocks each month rather than 3. Something to ponder on.

Have a great day.

Nanette

    1. It is an interesting block when put together! I can always go back and add one more block to the 3. I save all the scraps until the project is completed! It will make a nice table runner!

  1. Hi Nanette,
Your hearts always make me smile each morning! And I really LOVE those Squared Away blocks – the colors you chose, the fabrics – that block alone would make a great quilt. ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Thank you Rosanne. I am enjoying the Hearts and Squared Away because it is something that can be done in a fairly short amount of time and isn’t continuous day after day! Have a great day!

    1. Thank you Cousin Kay! I am enjoying the daily process of appliqueing a heart a day! The other project is making 3 blocks a month – that is real easy! And at the end of the year I will have a quilt!

    1. No, but am thinking about one every now and then. I may do Stars, or Churn Dash depends on the finished size of the hearts that I decide on! I want to be able to use up all the pieces of this fabric. It will leave me with a border problem unless I do some piano keys…. Oh well, that will be a June problem! Hugs, have a great day!
