Happy Friday – I love Fridays as it provides me time to look back over the week as to my accomplishes! This week I have quilted all but 6 of the quilts that I am clearing out.
Yesterday I finished the last of the backs for them and then decided to do some rearranging. I moved all the applique quilts that will be hand quilted to the Den where I have my Z44 hand quilting frame. I decided it would be nice to have them displayed rather than hanging on a hanger. I may start on hand quilting sometime this summer after all binding is finished!

Now I only have 6 quilts hanging (along with the backing and the batting for the 2 white quilts not he left) waiting for their turn on the long arm! The clothes rack is destined to the garage for storage when all I am finished with the quilting.

I then moved all quilts that need hand binding to the Music/Overflow fabric room in the house. I have the 4 quilts that the binding had to be redone in December that I have to hand bind, along with the 3 that Rebecca sent me a couple of weeks ago.
When I have caught up on my quilting, a major dusting will take place in my 2 Studio rooms! I also need to straighten my fabric stash as I have been pulling fabrics here and there and they need to go back to where they belong.
So today – I have nothing planned except to just do what I feel like doing. I will start quilting tomorrow and hope to have the 6 quilts completed by the first of February!
Have a wonderful week-end – we will be watching all the NFL playoff games! Especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Hugs, Nanette

Enjoy your football! You have made so much progress! I quilted my blue project this morning and will bind it tomorrow. It’s small, thankfully.

I am ready to hit the quilting again today! Just need to decide which one. I am leaning toward one of the larger quilts – Probably will finish it by tomorrow. The games start around 3:30 so I will be finishing the last quilt I did (binding). Hugs

Hey Kathy – hope you enjoy your week-end. I am loading a quilt after breakfast – probably won’t finish it today, but may be able to! Otherwise tomorrow. I am allowing 2 days for each quilt. Hugs

Yup! I have only the R&G Easy Peasy one to bind and I will be caught up with the ones I have done. The others are in the “overflow room” where I cannot see them! LOL. Hugs

Even at my age, it is just not me to be “lazy”, but some days I do not push as hard, but those days are rare! Looking forward to the games especially the Giants/Eagles and then the Cowboys tomorrow evening. But all 4 games this week will be good games to take in! Hope you are over your brain fog! Hugs

Having a plan is half way to being done. Good luck with all the plans for the next couple of weeks. You definitely deserve a break before you get serious on that quilting.

This project has really worked well for me – no real deadlines, just keep on keeping on. After I finish the 6 quilts, there is some re-arranging of a closet, inventorying all quilts, and then there is the fabric stash that has to be straightened up. Oh yes – getting the leaf blower out and getting all the fabric dust out of the Studio. I am hoping that by the end of the 2nd week of February those things will be finished and I can move forward on quilting another top! Hugs.
