OK – I found my mind – at least for a few moments. It is HQAL Sunday! I have started doing Counted Cross Stitch and have found it to be so relaxing. It allows me to focus and think!!! (Darn just when I was going to just veg!). I started last year collecting the tools required to do cross stitching, and it is so much cheaper than quilting!
I watched Kimberly’s Cross Stitch University videos and downloaded the free pattern.
I changed the colors for this project and am very pleased with my progress. I have progressed where I can watch a movie or the News (as bad as it is) and still work on my project! Yea – maybe I am getting back to multi-tasking. Keeps the brain sharp along with walking! (Boy after having to lay off 4 days my walk was not a picnic today).
We have Sunshine today! We have not seen the Sun since last Tuesday – I am heading out to sit and gather some much needed Vitamin D!

I know I wrote on another post of yours but I will repeat 🙂 – I really like the color change on this cross stitch. This will be perfect for 4th of July decor. Now it has a very colonial feel.

I love the colorway you have chosen, Nanette. This is going to be a beauty. I’m delighted you are enjoying cross stitching…it is very therapeutic with mulitple studies telling us so! And you are so right about how much further the money can go with this hobby compared to quilting.
