Summer is here in full force and we are half way through August! The last 2 days were very nice and the heat did not bother me because we had nice winds that helped cool one off a little if one were outside. Today there is no wind and I think there is a chance for some rain for some people.
Another getaway cancelled – thanks to Biden and his Borderless Country! So we will go in December, maybe everyone will be staying home at Christmas and we can go play!
We had such a busy week and Friday I was tired, but active. Yesterday I finished with my “paperwork” goals and that really makes me happy! Did a lot of shredding, but everything is up to date for our Lawyer. YEA!!!
I started quilting Raggity Ann and Andy this morning, but after quilting one row I am done with that for the day. Not sure, but could be Mr Fibro. But then again maybe it is BAMC sickness! LOL! But wait, that is what Slow Sunday Stitching is all about! REST and Relaxation!
I have completed another section of 9 Dresden Plates! They are the Pinky ones. I have 63 completed (without circles) and 42 more to stitch down. Then the Circle Party begins.

Now that I am looking at the picture, they are not true colors, oh well, what can I say! Lazy Sunday,
Have a wonderful Sunday and a great week! Enjoy stitching!
Hugs, Nanette

Sounds like a nice variety of activities for you. I’m glad the weather isn’t too bad. It’s hot and humid here for the last few days, but cooling down a little the next few. All in all, it hasn’t been the worst summer for heat, and we’ve had plenty of rain.

Thank you Deb! We have a chance of showers, but none yesterday. We are on the down hill side of the heat – IF it doesn’t go into September. Wouldn’t it be great for an early Fall? Hugs

Love the dresden blocks. We had very strong winds. Uprooted neighbors tree. The rain with it was coming in under the French doors and down the middle. Towels all across the bottom. The next day rains with light wind. Nancy

Thank you Nancy. How are you doing beside those winds? We had lots of rain this year – All in April June and July! About 20 inches here at our place. We have grass again!
Are you doing OK/. Hubby OK? We are hanging in there. Life is beginning to settle down for us. Hugs Think of you often.

OMG Nancy. Hopefully you guys are doing OK now. Take care and keep in touch. Our rain has stopped and it is so hot and humid, but September is coming and rain is coming back in the forecast. I would love a nice Fall starting in September. Hugs

Well past half way on these now, Nanette! We have 95-100 until Wednesday, and then I think we are done (or nearly done) with the really hot days. I am looking forward to mid 70’s and low 80’s,

YUP! Hoping to get back into the swing of things this week. I do hope the high temps go away for you for the summer. I am hoping that September is not going to be hot and humid – Early Fall, or a real Fall would be great! Hugs

Your Pinky Dresdens look amazing and I am so intrigued by the Raggedy Ann and Andy quilt. Have a lovely week of quilting.

Thank you Melisa. Raggedy Ann and Andy were made with Walmart fabric from 2001 or 2002. I did get a row quilted yesterday – I am not going to hurry on this one as I want to do a better job on the meandering. I do free. Motion quilting on my HQ16. Hugs

Love those blocks!
Sorry your getaway was canceled. The Taliban could easily just come on it at our border and Biden would continue on his vacation.

Thank you Linda, it is OK about not going, do not care to get sick. I am glad we did because I think we will be hit on 11 Sep – AND I am sure they are already in the country just waiting. We will try Christmas.
One day our Government is going to have to tell us the truth about everything. I am hoping that a lot of Whistleblowers blow the lid off all of the lying about the CCP. Biden, and the Swamp will pay dearly with Karma some day for what they have done to our Country. They too have to meet God to answer for the hell they are bringing down on us.
No threat, just the truth. We all have to face the music when we hurt others.
