Greetings to all! We are hoping for a break in the weather this week. Rain today and 10 degrees cooler with rain through Thursday. I certainly hope their predictions are accurate!
I had my Endoscopy on Wednesday. Same diagnosis as 2011 – Gastritis and Gastric Polyps and this time he took a biopsy. Should have the results by Tuesday. No Ulcer which is good. Clay and I are enjoying a full week of not one appointment with a Doctor. Next Thursday he will have his first year Echo Cardiogram and Friday he will get a Rooster Comb shot in his left knee. Then sometime in July there might be a trip to the Gulf Coast for a much needed time away! We are Ready!
I am slowly getting on top of the UFO’s. Here is my progress on Block 10 for A Bountiful Life. The stems and yellow flowers will tone down the wild green leaves.
I finished Block 4 for Santa Fe Trail.
The fabrics are I am using Eliza’s Indigo by Betsy Chutchian for Santa Fe Trails. Here are the first 4 Blocks.
Have a wonderful week and enjoy stitching!

Stems already, woohoo! You just keep moving things forward, Nanette. 😁The momentum is inspiration in itself, don’t you think?
I’m so happy things turned out well for you in the tummy department! Glad you decided to proceed with the leaves block – the stem and flowers, and those pretty leaves – it’s all beautiful! I love Betsy’s fabrics – such gorgeous blocks.
Praying for your biopsy results to be negative! Such beautiful applique! I love your blocks for the Santa Fe Trail! I’m enjoying participating as well!
Oooh, block 10 for A Bountiful Life is lovely, pretty leaves and this yellow flower is so cheerful! Beautiful snowflake block too.
Thank you for linking up today 😉
Looking forward to seeing Block 10 in all its glory – the green may seem bright, but it’s soothing on the eyes!
Great colors on Santa Fe Trail
Glad your endoscopy went okay. Those are no fun at all. Love those colors in Santa Fe Trail, and lovely Bountiful Life. We were in the 100’s two weeks ago, went down to the 90s last week, and we are back up in the 100s! We could drastically use some rain! Hope you have a great week!
I am quite fond of the wind green leaves. Glad the test went well for you. Talk soon.
Love the leaves and the yellow flowers will be so pretty!
The Bountiful Life block is going to be very vivid, perfect for summer stitching. Fingers crossed it’s all good news from the various doctor appointments.
