Slow Sunday Stitching – 31 January 2021

Evening! I have had the greatest week full of quilting!  I am really getting things done as far as my quilting projects! Now if the Cedar would just go away! A new batch blew in today so a little miserable, but I still spent the day in the Studio and accomplished a lot.

I have made considerable progress on my Stars Around the Garden Medallion. I plan on finishing it in February and will have another quilt top finished! This is half of the medallion finished.

The remaining is a mirror image that needs to be completed.  There is a flower in the Center to tie it together.

I decided to not continue on with the Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR) by Gail, mainly because I am satisfied with the first border and will just leave them as wall hangings!   I am ready to baste them for hand quilting in February.

This is Kay’s Quilt.

I love the fabric I am using for the back of this wall hanging.  It is Kona Bay for Seattle Bay fabric that is no longer available.  I had a 1 and 1/2 yard piece that worked great, but it was hard to not keep it and make something else with it, but it matches the top so well I could not resist using it.

This is my Feathered Star wall hanging ready for basting!

Have a great week and keep on stitching!

Hugs, Nanette
