I am a little late in this post, so here goes!
I have been working on old UFO applique projects. See my previous post Holiday Lights for more background information.
This placemat lacks the candle wick before it is ready for a border
This is the finished placemat waiting for a border
I am still working on the Table Runner! It is not a difficult pattern, well written, and fun to applique!
I am now working on preparing blocks for Celebrating Mary Brown. There is a great group of ladies who will be participating.
Have a great week!
Nanette
Please take the time to visit each quilter listed below to check on their wonderful hand work. HQAL is a group of ladies who check in every 3 weeks showing their progress on projects and those completed!
Kathy, Margaret, Emma, Tracy, Deb, Susan, Nanette, Edith, Sharon, Karrin, Gretchen and Kathi
The placemats and table runner are really sweet. Are you going to use them or making for gift giving? Sharon

Oh Sharon – I will be so darn glad when the eye situation is over with!!!! I am not doing anything right!!!! Your reply went to Kathy – what next?
I am thinking that the placemats and table runner are mine. I started them in 2013 and ended up doing another set for some friends. Mine just sat and sat! So hopefully by this week-end they will be ready for borders and quilting! MACHINE QUILTING – DOMESTIC!
Have a great week!

Oh Jayne – these were started in 2013 – I THINK. So if I get them finished this month that will be a miracle! LOL. I did get a Xmas quilt done earlier in the year and one done about 15 years ago that needs to be quilted…. See I am also slow! Hugs

Your candle project is lovely! That gives me an idea for an Advent themed table runner… Not that I will get around to making it in time for THIS Advent! So, what does HQAL stand for? I’m guessing quilt a-long but the H has me stumped!
