Hello from a beautiful Spring day in South Texas! It appears that cutting the Parallelogram correctly at 1 and 9/16″ worked!!!
This is Block 6 of 9. Now that I have a little (?) problem area corrected the sewing goes faster.
And 2 more Dresdens completed.
Have a great Tax Day!

Hi Nanette! This block just takes my breath away. So many complex pieces to it, and so many different things to focus on. I was so busy studying those lovely fabrics that I didn’t even notice the star in the center! How did I miss that?! Away, this is going to be one beauuuttttiful quilt. ~smile~ Roseanne

Thank you so much Roseanne. I know now that I can make a feathered star and not pull my hair out! Have the technique/secrets mastered! LOL Marsha McCloskey has some beautiful fabrics, soft and just the right texture for making something with a lot of seams and points!

Thx Kerry! I cannot believe that the 1/16 of an inch threw me off for the other 5 blocks, but they came out OK. Nice to figure it out finally! This one was the easiest to do! Have a great day!

Just lovely Nanette, these fabrics work perfect! Not tax day for us, farmers need to have their taxes paid March 1. I’ve been enjoying the last 6 weeks watching everyone else stress about their taxes.

Thank you Gretchen! This one was fun! no problems! We always send our taxes in on 1 March also – just to get rid of them! LOL Have a great day quilting on Pastor Attic!

Thank you Lori, I am beginning to enjoy making the feathered star now that I have suffered through all the “learning”? processes! Maybe I should read the directions more closely! LOL!

Hurrah for you! I finally filed taxes at 2:00, and we got the check postmarked too, at 5:30. It was a long and ugly day! But 24 hours can make a huge difference as you know!

Oh Kathy – hoping that starting today that you and hubby get back to normal! It is such a bummer to have stress hit a family when they least expect it!!!! Hugs!

Today has been excellent, still no neb treatment, and more time out in the garden. 🙂
