I am working on the last 2 blocks for A Bountiful Life. There are a total of 20 blocks, but I have become bored and uninterested in the project and am anxious to get it into a flimsy and ready to quilt (someday)!
I am hoping to finish this by next week (I only do hand work at night).
I love WordPress! I can start my Post on my iPad and finish on my iPhone! Spoiled am I!
Have a great sewing week!

I figured that after 4 years that I would probably not make anymore than 9! I really wish I could have made it when I was on a love trip with it before! LOL I love the quilt!

I’m also so ready for mine to be through to, and I only do hand work at night too. Good luck!

I enjoy the ability to be more active by piecing during the day! I have tried sitting all day long and either hand quilting or appliqueing and I do not care for that. Thank you for commenting!

Well Sharon, sometimes I think I am nuts, but it does make the mind work doesn’t it! This one cannot be speeded up! Precision galore – just making the 9 blocks!

You and me both Jane! I spent time this afternoon on color placement and if I wanted to only do star blocks instead of different centers – Working on the first star and will see how it looks!
I am thinking this one will take me about 3 or 4 weeks – maybe I will be lucky and finish them in 2! LOL

Funny, I can’t do hand work at night because I can’t see it. So sorry that you are bored with this project, but glad that you are seeing it through. Perhaps someday it will spark your interest again.

I do not know why, but when I procrastinate on something it means – MOVE ON! LOL
It is a beautiful quilt, but I do not care for the circus animals so there would have been a change in blocks, or stopping at 12! Not sure about how I will do a border – time will tell!

Only two more to go! You can do it! I know what you mean by losing your momentum near the end. It’s always nice to put that final stitch in. Maybe by next HQAL!!❤️❤️

This is going to be another lovely block. Nine blocks are enough if you are bored with the project. The police aren’t going to show up at your house because you didn’t make all 20 of the blocks. Happy Stitching!

Thank you Gretchen, 9 are enough, and the QP are not allowed anymore! Before I would have just bit my tongue and continued on, but I am finding that time spent on something that doesn’t thrill me is not worth my time! Have a great day!
