We enjoyed our day trip to Rockport Texas yesterday. Clay had a great lunch consisting of their great fresh fried shrimp. I enjoyed a cup of java! It was a warm day (92 degrees) and Rockport/Fulton are still reeling from the effects of Harvey as far as the re-building goes. Sounds like the Insurance Companies like to hold back on payments – what a mess. It will take at least 2 or 3 years to recoup. There are no pier’s to walk out on and enjoy the ocean breezes and watching the waves. We were going to schedule a couple of weeks there this summer, but have decided against it. I guess this is why the Grey haired ole’ ladies and guys go to the Casino! LOL
Here are my hearts for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It was a very non-productive quilting/sewing/applique week, so I am very glad to see the week GONE!
Tomorrow will be Day 12 of Hearts – almost halfway there! Have a great Mother’s Day and week-end. I will start my positive life over when I wake up at 6 AM tomorrow! Looks like goals for May are not going to be met – maybe just one thing will be completed, we will see!

What about Corpus Christi or even a little farther south east/

CC did not get hit that bad. It was Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, Rockport/Fulton and South.
It is just sad! Houston’s flooding took all the attention away from this area do it shows!

Glad you had a day trip, even if the stitching slowed as a result. Your hearts are looking good! I just finished the first border on Stars Over Baltimore, doing 2-3 leaves each morning really got my momentum going again, thanks to your hearts!
