April OMG Finishes!

Greetings from a very humid South Texas. Hopefully we will get some much needed rain!

Here are my finishes for the month of April.

RSC 2018 Squared Away – 3 Blocks – all are the same!

Finished I Love Texas quilt top!

A lot of washing and ironing fabrics:

More and more and more Fat Quarters

This is a bundle of FQ’s that I purchased from Whittles. They are called ‘Mesh’ by P&B. I ordered two more bundles which gives me about a yard of each color and I have a quilt in mind for them. They are just so striking!

I had a day to go to the Yarn Store and had Dawn (Yarnivore – SATX) to go over the pattern for this Dish Cloth called Basketweave. I had attempted to make it 3 times and each time I messed up – this time I have it conquered! YEA! A finish!

I made a wall hanging out of this block from Civil War Bride block number 1. It will be hand quilted.

I completed Block 3 of Nesting!

This is it for April and as usual I am 2 days behind in posting. Such fun to always be behind the curve! Have a great week! Happy Quilting!

    1. Thank you Peggy. I had really been making progress, but after finishing the Texas quilt I think I had some burn out – but washing and ironing fabric is really not the way to treat ‘quilting burnout’! LOL!

  1. See, you did accomplish something in April. Now you need to get to work on the pink blocks for RSC. Nice dishcloth, I like that basketweave pattern.

    1. It is nice to really reflect and see it in a post! Waiting for the pattern this month – hopefully it will be here on the 5th. I love that basket weave pattern. I think the yarn I was using might have been the issue before. But I have it mastered now! Thx Gretchen

    1. Thank you Roseanne! Yes those Mesh fabrics got my eye immediately. Plenty to make the quilt that I have in mind. I really want to get these UFO’s out of the UFO bin! Even if they go to the rack for quilting!
