I am so happy to have finished the following projects that I had schedule for January for OMG!
I joined the Ocean Waves Quilt A Long (QAL) only to decide that Ocean Waves is not a quilt that I want to continue with so I made a little quilt out of the one “practice” block I made.
I also wanted to participate in RSC 2017 this year. I have started with purple 4 Patches. I will continue with this project in February, and make a decision by March if I continue on. I may find another pattern that I really like and start over. Time will tell.
Last but not least, Oh Glory quilt. It now loaded on the long arm ready to be quilted! My goal is to have it completed by Tuesday 31 Jan.
Have a great day and enjoy quilting!
You have been very busy. Such lovely work.

I like the fabric you used for the grape leaves.

Love appliqueing with Batiks. They are so much easier because the do not fray! I really did ignore this project for 4 months – getting 4 more blocks ready to work on, just need to select the fabrics!

Isn’t it great to sit back and take a deep breath when projects are completed. I really like all the quilts you do. I am into the freedom mode so I do like the Flag.

Thx Nancy – I hope to finish Oh Glory and today I am selecting fabric for A Bountiful Life and searching for some background fabric I want to make the Quiltmania Mystery for 2017. No on-line QALs.

Thank you! I love to piece during the day and applique at night, but guess I had some burnout the end of 2016!

Thank you on the Applique. Just not sure what to do with the 4 patches as of yet, so am now making 3 purple blocks from a pattern called Good Night, Irene that I just found this AM. Trying to finish before its’ too late! LOL

Four patches can be used in so many great ways. Hopefully they will give you a hint as to how they want to come together.

I will use them somewhere they always come in handy to have around. Thx for your comment.

Thank you Ariane, I had to modify Circa 2016, it gave me a lot of issues when I put the entire quilt together. I used the center medallion to make the small quilt, and passed the remainder of the blocks to another quilter.

My goodness, so many finishes! Those four patches would look great in a Jacobs Ladder quilt. Just an idea…..
